Paint Protection Film

The perfect solution to protecting every vehicles paintwork.

What Is Paint Protection Film?

PPF, or Paint Protection Film, is a transparent or coloured thermoplastic urethane film applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect its paint and finish from various forms of damage. This technology has gained popularity among car enthusiasts and owners who want to maintain the appearance and value of their vehicles.

A PPF treatment involves the careful application of a protective film to a vehicle’s exterior, offering a range of benefits such as paint protection, self-healing capabilities, preservation of resale value, enhanced aesthetics, and long-term peace of mind. It is a wise investment for those who want to keep their vehicles looking pristine and well-protected.

PPF Treatment is backed by a 10 year manufacturers warranty.

How Our PPF Process Works

Step 1: Preparation

Clean the vehicle’s surface thoroughly to remove any dirt, dust, wax, or other contaminants that could interfere with adhesion.

Use alcohol or a specialised surface cleaner to ensure a completely clean surface.

Step 2: Pattern Creation or Cutting:

Use computer software or pre-cut templates to create the appropriate pattern for the specific vehicle model.

Alternatively, some installers may use bulk rolls of PPF and hand-cut the film to fit the vehicle’s contours.

Step 3: Film Application

Peel the backing off the PPF, exposing the adhesive side.

Carefully position the film over the desired area of the vehicle, ensuring proper alignment.

Use squeegees or other tools to smooth out the film and remove any air bubbles.

Pay special attention to curved or complex areas, ensuring the film conforms properly to the contours of the vehicle.

Step 4: Trimming

Once the film is applied, trim any excess material using precision cutting tools.

Trim edges to fit precisely around doors, handles, and other features of the vehicle.

Step 5: Heat Application

Use a heat gun to heat the PPF, which helps activate the adhesive and allows the film to conform more tightly to the vehicle’s surface.

Heat application also helps to remove any remaining air bubbles and wrinkles for a smooth finish.

Step 6: Final Inspection

Carefully inspect the installed PPF for any imperfections, such as wrinkles, air bubbles, or misalignment.

Address any issues as needed, using additional heat or pressure to correct imperfections.

Step 7: Curing

Allow the PPF to cure for a specified period, typically 24-48 hours, before exposing it to water or other elements.

Curing time allows the adhesive to fully bond to the vehicle’s surface, ensuring long-lasting protection.

Optional Additional Steps:

We also offer additional services, such as applying a ceramic coating over the PPF for added protection and shine.
